e-K 3 Agenda

April 8th– 12th

We are home free from the alphabet and bringing in pictures for each letter. We will carry on with the familiarization of our letters throughout our classroom, centers, name cards, signing in and books as always at this point. As far as our numbers go, there has always been a huge emphasis on counting and recognition throughout our daily activities all year long. This will carry on as well as I have noticed that our counting game is STRONG and so impressive.

This will be our final week of our main focus on trees before we flow into plants after our spring break. We will be discussing what grows on a tree. Send in a picture of something that grows on a tree. If the picture can display the item in its actual tree that would be great. Centers will include sorting pictures of items that grow on trees or vines in table toys. Sorting apples, bananas and oranges to their matching tree in our math center and placing tissue paper cherries into their numbered baskets. All other centers will be available as always…

Art will consist of creating APPLE JACK trees and 3D Fruit of Spirit Trees with mini pom poms (Ask your child to sing you the song. We have been singing it forever. The opening verse is “The fruit of the spirits not a cocoanut…’) More Easter crafts on the way as well…

Have an awesome weekend!
