re-K 3 Agenda

May 13th-17th

Here we are in the middle of May already. Time flies as we have been super busy between all of our beautiful Mother’s Day projects and welcoming our six caterpillars to our classroom. We were only supposed to receive five, but we are excited for the one extra. We will be observing our caterpillars for the next couple of days. As we observe the different stages that our caterpillars will be going through, we will be creating our very own ‘Butterfly Books’. We will create a page for each stage of our butterflies metamorphosis by observing, drawing and using our words to describe what is taking place. When our butterflies are strong and ready, we will release them into our garden as a class. This will be a representation of our butterflies transition just as we will transition to Pre-K 4 in September. We will also continue with our butterfly collages as well as preparing for our “Look How We’ve Grown” gallery night.

HEADS UP!

PARP Parents as Reading Partner night is on Wednesday May 15th from 6pm to 7pm. Come and get cozy in our classroom with a book as you read to your child or their classmates in small groups or individually. This is a great way to squeeze in some extra quality time in our classroom and to bond with your child’s classmates before graduation. BYOB Bring Your Own Book if you like or a few. Hope to see you all!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. IT IS WELL DESERVED. YOU ARE ALL LOVELY!
