We’re going to be off to a “Spooktacular” start to our week in Pre K 3 with our Halloween themed day on Monday October 31st.  We’re going to keep things light and fun with some activities geared toward the spirt of the day.  Just a reminder, we will be having a pizza party in class.

Tuesday, Nov.1 is Picture Day.  Again, if for some reason you did not get a flyer let us know Monday and I will be sure that you get one by dismissal time. Picture day is a regular school day, please send snack and lunch as usual. We will do our very best to make sure that the children stay as neat as possible before pictures.

Finally, there is NO SCHOOL  on Friday, Nov. 4th.  The staff will be traveling to another location for Professional Development.  People have asked me exactly what this is.  In this case, many of our local Lutheran Schools will be gathering for workshops which go over various techniques and topics that are current in education right now.  These are actually very valuable to us as teachers because we return with many new ideas to implement in the classroom.  In all honesty, it’s a very valuable and interesting resource to us teachers.

Finally, Parent/ Teacher conferences will be coming up for us in the next few weeks.  I will post a sign up sheet for setting an appointment with me shortly.

So there is a quick look at some of this week’s upcoming highlights.  See you on Monday!
