November 18, 2018
Well here we are at this time of year already. How did we get here this fast? This week is a short one but with some important information.
- I hope the parents that attended our Back-to-school Night had a great time. There was a lot of laughter and concentration as we worked on our pumpkins. Please take a look at the finished products in the hallway. Parents had a chance to experience life in PKA. The square dancing and song for following directions were especially interesting to watch. This caused much laughter, as you can imagine. This was suggested by the students of our class.
- Thank you so much to our parents who helped us with our International Feast Day. Some of you cooked, baked, and helped clean-up and take extra food downstairs for the rest of the school to enjoy. The students actually ate lunch and dessert. Thank you so much.
- The week coming up is a short one so here goes. Monday and Tuesday are full days of school, complete with After-school.
- Wednesday is a half-day dismissal. This means that you need to make arrangements to have your child picked up at 11:00 AM. There is no Lunch or Nap times, and NO AFTER-SCHOOL.
Take the time to enjoy your families this weekend.
Have a fabulous Thanksgiving! See you on Monday!
