We had a busy time in Pre-K2 this week. We continue using our senses while playing outside on the playground, we searched for new leaves and noticed that many of the leaves had different textures. We even found leaves that were “rough” on one side and “soft” on the other side. This was the last week of our unit about all five senses: seeing, hearing, smelling and touching. The children especially enjoyed learning a song about the 5 senses.
In Math, we have been learning to identify shapes in everyday subjects. Also, we have been learning that triangles have three sides and rectangles have four sides and “right angles.” We worked with Geostix to create our own shapes.
