Congratulations to all of the students who earned their certificates at the assembly this trimester. Special mention to those who participated in the NY Senate Thanksgiving celebration. Here we are holding out certificates from the NY State Senator’s office. We are in the second trimester now and there is plenty of opportunity to do well and to earn certificates in March. This week we have Open Evening from 6:30-8:30. Please encourage anyone you know to come and take a look at our school. We are all very proud of what we do here and it shows in the way students learn and interact with staff.

Students in 4/5 Social Studies will be working on a travel brochure for the 13 colonies, 4th grade Scientists will be looking at inventors and their contributions. I have introduced ‘cursive writing’ exercises in 5/6 ELA as part of the curriculum as we continue to work on spelling, grammar and punctuation as well as reading comprehension. Have a great week!
